Blueberry magic

I think everyone needs one, the perfect one recipe for a blueberry cake. I'll tell you that it is this recipe, and you will have to try it. Blueberries are quite in season in July. This magical cake is perfect for summer gatherings with iced coffee and, of course,...

In season: July

I am off to summer holiday in July. But the real holiday: absorbing the sun, enjoying fresh food and taking just as enough steps from my sun bed to the sea. This certainly does not mean that we will not know what is in season this month. Surely, I hope you...

Strawberry or raspberry jam

When I saw that my dear Ena made jam, I had to ask her to share the recipe with you. I do not think there is anything better than a home-made fruit jam from fruit that you choose yourself and then you have a lovely sweet jam for the whole winter to go with pancakes....

Baklava from Sarajevo

Baklava is a dessert for which each house has its own secret. And until the end of time, every grandmother  will have a recipe that is passed from one generation to another. There is certainly something there, because when I was a little girl, although I was just...

Strudel with cherries

I have a confession to make. I do not like strudels. At all. Except this one. And this is the only strudel you need to love and the best recipe ever. I believe that as I do these days, you are "overdosing" with cherries. After all, they are In season in June. This...

Welcome to all food lovers, to all explorers of different cooking, to all of you who love to eat and want to find new places to enjoy food.

About me

My name is Irma and for 10 years I have been cooking for my family and friends. Two years ago I started with food photography and with exploring recipes and adapting them to my liking. During this period of two years, at least once per week I was asked why don’t I start my own web about food and cooking. Apparently I have finally ceded before presures because here you are on my own online gastro magazine.

Blog

Aside from recipes, I will try to write up gastro stories from my travels. A specific part of the magazine is the section Gastronomad(s), because I eat in restaurants frequently and I will gladly share those experiences and reviews of restaurant I visit.
