When I started thinking about Chakula and started the entire story, I thought about Chakula being an inspiration for cooking, hanging out with friends around food and learning about cooking techniques and ingredients. One month after the official start, I hope that you have also recognized my vision.
My friend Ena certainly has. Frequently we comment on Chakula’s content and talk about new ideas. In a burst of inspiration, Ena prepared very healthy and delicious Chocó pralines.
Many of you will be happy to hear that they are made of only three ingredients and in 30 minutes time.
Preparation time: 30 minutes
1 cup of coconut oil
1 cup of 100% cocoa ( Ena used dmBio cocoa)
3 tablespoons of honey*
min extract or chopped mint leaves – to taste
In a pot melt coconut oil and add honey. * Have in mind that cocoa is rather bitter, so if you like somewhat sweeter pralines, add more honey.
Stir until honey starts to melt and add cocoa and stir briefly. Remove the pot from the heat and stir for 1 minute so that all ingredients could combine. To taste add mint extract.
Pour the mixture in a silicone mold and put it in the freezer. After 20 minutes Chocó pralines are ready. Pralines need to be in the fridge because they melt at room temperature.
If Chakula inspires you as well, please share your recipes with me and all lovers of good food.
