It’s apple season. If you type “apple” in the search engine on the web, several apple recipes will come out. This one is the healthiest among them. How is it possible? Let’s check.

Preparation time: 45 minutes

Ingredients:

– 6 apples (sweet)

– 100 g walnuts

– 6 Medjool dates

– 20 g honey

– 1 teaspoon of cinnamon

– juice of 1/2 lemon

– 100 g butter

Dressing:

– 200 g Greek yogurt

– 2 tablespoons of honey

Preparation:

Put the dates for 5 minutes to boil in water to soften. Peel their skin and blend with nuts, lemon juice, cinnamon and butter in a blender.

Preheat the oven to 160ºC.

Wash the apples and hollow out the upper part in a funnel-shaped manner. Fill each apple with stuffing. Put the apples into a deeper fireproof pan. Pour 200 ml of water and cover with aluminum foil. Bake for 25 minutes. After 25 minutes, remove the foil and bake for another 10 minutes. Baking time depends on the apple variety and size. On average, make sure the apple is soft before removing it from the oven.

Make the dressing by mixing yogurt and honey.

You will enjoy a bite full of nuts, with refreshing apple and yogurt topping.
