Lately I’ve been experimenting what can all be made in a blender. So, the other day, I mixed up only 4 ingredients and got these delicious and eye-catching truffles.

Additionally, the key ingredient was beetroot, about which we talked in the text about superfoods. Beetroot is rich in nitrates and lowers blood pressure, and is recommended to athletes before training because it improves the flow of oxygen in the body.

Pack in a jar and it’s a wonderful sign of attention for the upcoming March 8th, right?

Preparation time: 20 minutes


– 1 smaller beetroot

– 50 g coconut

– 5 Medjool dates

– 50 g oat flakes

– 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract

– 2 tablespoons of water

Postupak pripreme:

Cveklu ogulimo i presječemo na četvrtine. Stavimo je u blender, te dodamo zobene pahuljice, kokosovo brašno, hurme i vodu. Izblendamo u jednoličnu smjesu od koje pravimo kuglice. Dobijemo 12 kuglica.

No sugar, gluten-free and extremely healthy and delicious.
